Repairing a Hydraulic trolley jack??
Ive just had some cheeky b****** steal my trolley jack and professional tool kit from my garage. Not a happy man!
However i still have a couple of halfrauds trolley jacks available which arent raising. Does anyone know of a way to repair a trolley jack or are their days numbered? Strange question i know but interesting nonetheless. :wonder: |
Probs just needs new "o" rings.

Have they got hydraulic oil in?
One of our old one leaked oil, but would jack fine once it had been topped up. (Until I broke it by doing something it wasn't designed for! :D ) |
Sorry to hear about the thieving, I would be bereft if I lost my tools, had them for a very long time.
I have got a Halfords trolley jack, still going well after a good few years. Maybe a hydraulic fluid top up might do the trick as mentioned. Make sure you get the correct oil though. Les |
