I'm building a new house just now and have been looking at various bathroom ideas for months.
I would say avoid dolphin bathrooms, they were the most unhelpful people I've ever met. If it's insparation you're after you cant go far wrong with a few good mags. Ideal homes, Living ect, Grand designs magazine all feature bathroom ideas. Last months Ideal homes had a great wee booklet with bathroom and kitchen ideas that included layout as well as design and styles. Visit some expensive bathroom showrooms for great ideas too, you can easily replicate top end products and styles for a fraction of the price. Hope this helps :) |

If you like showers then I highly recommend this make.....
Aqualisa homepage - Aqualisa I've got one and it's fantastic. Not cheap, but shop around online and you can get them much cheaper than RRP. :thumb: |

Ifs is anything like their kitchen design software then its shyte and you'll most likely loose your temper within minutes of using it. Get B&Q out to do a survey or measure it yourself and go to them. You'll have loads of ideas then, but make sure and measure all the little quirks that may be there. |

I can second the Aqualisa showers, we just installed two. Unless you are planning a wetroom, I wouldnt recomend going for a really low profile shower tray, as you will have to be a bit careful with the shower on full boost if there is any hair in the plughole!

Dolphin Bathrooms are great........
At my last house I had a new bathroom fitted. Dolphin came out and designed it and quoted me £4K for a small bathroom: bath, basin and WC. I asked why so much and hes said it's the labour - 2 men for 2 weeks. Come on 10 man days to fit 3 items! I kept his design and told him to foxtrot oscar. It took 4 days to install everything at a cost of less than £2k by using a plumber with me supplying the items (suggested by Dolphin) from a local Plumb Centre. Cheers Dolphin (muppets) |
