building a engine
 
hi i was hoping someone can tell me how many hours it takes to remove a engine from a classic, strip, rebuild and replace?

Depends who is doing it ... how careful they want to be ... how anal they are ... how knowledgable ... whether they stop for tea ... etc. etc.

If it was me, I would allow myself 3 hours to get it out, 2 hours to strip, 3 hours to re-build and 4 hours to get in and running again. Clearly, a well sorted Specialist could do it far quicker than I ever could.
