need advice
Guys need some pointers, experiance and just straight up advice.
my mum old 206 is now 4 yrs old and she wants to get a new car. she was never happy with the 206 but bought it to keep the old man happy as at the time he was ill with pancreatic cancer and as the dealer was down the road wanted her to be able to be close to sort any issues out, he has since passed away and now she wants to replace it. she is looking at any of these FORD FIESTA VAUXHALL CORSA VW POLO MAZDA 3 HONDA CIVIC We are off to morrow to do the rounds at all the local stealers, has anyone got one of the above? had any in the oast? and good or horror stories? trying to do some homework as it will be on my back if i get it wrong as she wants me to help her out as i am a bit of a car nut but not on the everyday run around hatch back, not that she understands that. she did mention the KIA as they have a 60k warranty but i am not to sure about the quality of these, also i did think about tyhe SEAT CUPRA (cheaper to the vw) any help would be great thanks |
You buying new?? I bought a honda civic 1.6 se on an 05 plate. Drives extremely well, gets 40 mpg on an average run, good size boot, cheap to insure.
Car has not missed a beat, no faults in the past year. Paid £5400 with 17k on the clock with full honda service history. Hope that helps a bit. |
Yes mate as it stands she has it in her head to buy new to save the private sale of hers also the 3 warranty not mot etc. With all the stress over the last few years since my dad passed away she wants and deserves an easy life.
I was think of a pre registerd 59 plate as I guess dealers will be punting them out now the 10 are out. |
Well you can still get a year old one from the dealers with a part ex option but you don't pay through the nose for a new car premium. My apprentice has a fiesta 1.2 and that hasn't let him down once since he's owned it.
