stu everyone is always welcome at the smacs meets, depending on the age of your kids you could also take them along as the nights are getting lighter. when you get there just go over and introduce yourself, there a friendly bunch (well most are:lol1:) and remember we were all newbies at one time:thumb:

Got to Wilmslow a bit earlier as the boss had a heart (for once) and said we could go home.

"Great", I thought. "I'll actually be able to wash the car for once before the meet".

So I set off from Preston without a cloud in the sky to arrive in Wilmslow where there is a 1/4" of slushy ice on the ground and the sky is as dark as... a very dark thing!!

Bugger. :razz:

And I got caught in it on my bike! :( Hence the reason I didn't turn up tonight. Late back from my ride, took ages to thaw out and was too knackered to then get over to the Unicorn. Hope you all had a good one :thumb:

Just off on the road bike now for the first proper ride of the year.

Certainly am Beefy, managed to keep up the riding over winter with the help of some proper clothing. Going to Spain in November last year and getting some miles in there helped too :)
We'll deffo have to organise a ride this year.
