well i would think as your going about it the right way, they wont mind you posting up some pics on this thread:thumb:

use http://photobucket.com/ to upload your pics then copy and paste the IMG code to your post, then the pic will show

use Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket to upload your pics then copy and paste the IMG code to your post, then the pic will show

not really into chrome, but i did see a set of brake calipers chromed once that looked very nice , not sure how they looked after 6 months with the heat and brake dust

Our chrome can withstand up to 220 degrees celcius, so good for engine componants
