wrx, auto to manual conversion

hi, i have a 1995 wrx import automatic, is it easy enough to change it to manual, and what do i need?

to be honest mate not worth the agg, by the time you've added a pedal box, changed the loom, ecu, bought a flywheel, clutch bought a box and prop, changed the diff..........................and the time involved in changing just go and buy a manual it'll be cheaper

as above, not worth it.

I friend of mine has just done that conversion to his classic wagon, said it was a piece of Pi$$...didnt take him long either.

Its not worth the extra cost involved IMO. Unless you are going for big power, Then i would do a 6 speed conversion from API, unfortunately it would cost over £3K

I think in total it cost him the price of a scrap WRX shell with all the parts he need, £300 and he done the conversion himself.

In saying that in New Zealand 6speed gear box with conversion kit can get for 1500 or 2k. It's way cheaper too get the conversion than buying a manual Rex or sti
