As a general rule...
Post 2000 cars running normal oil temps 100degC and below 5w-30 or 5w-40 Same as above running temps up to 120degC 10w-50 or 15w-50 (10w better for all year round) Pre 2000 cars unless temps are exceeding 120degC 10w-50 or 15w-50 (10w better for all year round) If you're not sure about use/temps/abuse etc....mail us on sales@opieoils.co.uk and we'll take a closer look at the facts...use/mods/temps etc. 10w-60 only for cars where temps are likely to cook the oil or fuel dilution is severe. :D 75W-90 is OEM weight... so don't know whether you need to go thicker for 'arduous' use? |

A really good 5w-40 would probably be best or a 10w-50, you're kind of in the middle of the two |
Anyone using the Millers NT gear oils as we've heard good reports from hard users.
Cheers |

As it's getting a hard time, go for the Gulf Competition, the Motul 75w-90 is fine for normal use, but you should use a better oil for track only use |
