Type-25 - five years on
I can't believe it's five years since I bought the best all-round car I ever had, but I thought I'd mark the occasion by putting up a few pictures.
Still in Japan http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/2.jpg PowerStation's workshop http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/car2.jpg The day I picked it up - 5th March 2005 http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/day1.JPG Early days http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/Apr1.JPG Sorted the leather :) http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/Seat1.JPG http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/Seat7.JPG First birthday http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/Bday1.JPG New wheels http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/DSC00195.JPG A couple of meet pictures http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/IMG0379.JPG http://xrspage.users.btopenworld.com/IMG0789.JPG It's still in my garage but only does a couple of thousand miles a year these days :) |

Whilst not an official Type-25, I have had my "hybrid" ;) for 5yrs within the next couple of weeks.
I have to say, I have never owned a car for such a long period of time and I have enjoyed every second (well... almost lol) of it. Must be something to do with the Litchfield "thing". :D Perhaps it is time for a change though. :D |

roflol @ Mark! ;)
XRS, Really?! I remember seeing the Spec C in Iain's showroom, when he told me it was THE car to buy. I also remember saying to myself "I have only just bought my Blobeye UK STi (like three weeks previously).... how can I justify getting this Spec C!". The rest is obviously history! :D I was just as excited driving the 2yr old Spec C home, as I was when I bought my very first Escort Cossie in 1998. I felt the dog dagglies on both occasions, coming away from the showrooms. :D |
