This one is different ....

FREE Eye Tests - permanent offer - no voucher, no strings ... this will change how everyone gets their eyes tested!

You say that, It is franchised as i understand it. Jenny had hers tested a while back, picked up that the pressures where out of tollerence and they referred her to the hospital where she has just had her first appointment so fair play to them.:)

I get free eye tests any way....................

Jamz3k 03 March 2010 09:55 AM

Lidl - first visit - result

Went in the local one as Tesco (Weston Favell) was rammed to the gills. picked up a few items and ended up buying cable ties - 650 of them, in a decent plastic case and for less than £ 3.00. Assorted sizes and they work, i have used a few on my quad, they pull up tight, even with pliers do not snap or undo on thier own (you know what i mean)

Bargain!

Cant cure the blind ;)

Clarebabes 04 March 2010 12:54 PM

I get free eye tests through work, but don't need glasses.

Now can Tescos please start opening dentists.... The state of people's teeth in this country is disgusting. :nono:

jay1601 04 March 2010 12:58 PM

can't complain at free

SunnySideUp 04 March 2010 01:32 PM

Yes, would love to see some sense brought to the Dentistry of the UK.

Send the Dentists who we train, at public expense, into Tesco to work for a salary - for 3 years to pay back to the society which funded their training.

Get Tesco to pull the rip-off costs of the Labs. and haul the costs down.

Pay the newly qualified Dentists at Tesco a decent wage, about £45,000? Then work will only be carried out due to medical need, rather than the need for the Dentist to buy his/her next new BMW! Sorted :thumb:

Scoobychick 04 March 2010 03:04 PM

We both just had to have new glasses:

Pair of distance glasses each
Pair of close-up glasses each
Pair of distance sunglasses for me for driving

The total = just over £1000.00

That was with a good discount too
