petrol leak! nooo
 

I'm moving into week 3 now of owning my under £1000 turbo 2000 and, apart from a few niggles obviously, there has been a neat petrol smell lingering around the rear of the car while idling. I'd assumed it was running rich or something but now I have astonishingly found a petrol leak, which appears to be coming the U bend type pipe between the tank and the filler cap.

Currently I have no choice but to use the car regularly. :(

Has anyone had a similar leak in a classic?? Or is anyone familiar with the pipe and can suggest a quickish fix? Or even has a diagram of the pipe/tank??
