VW Tuning?

Ordered a VW Tiguan with the 170 TDI engine.

As it's heavier than my Golf 170 TDI, thus slower, I'm thinking about getting it re-mapped.

Have looked at websites for the following tuners, as they all seem much the same.

ABT
Revo
AMD
QS Tuning (MTM)
Richter

Anyone had any experience of any of the above companies? Any comments regarding how their mapping is?

Both MTM & ABT have some very tasty alloys. Hmmmm :norty:

revo are really good maps.

their generic map is pretty good. ie stg 1. but I went custom stg 3 with revo and couldnt fault the quality of it.

my mate had amd on his car and thought that was good quality as well. made his car change completely.

i havent heard either of the rest. but im sure after 3 years of being in the vw scene and not hearing them means they probably aint that good :thumb:

QS Tuning are the UK branch of MTM, the German Tuning firm.

This would be my first choice, as I believe Audi of Germany uphold all tuning product from MTM. They are the most expensive though.

Custom Code IMO - I have experienced a few VAG diesel maps and this is the one to have, super smooth and gearbox friendly.
