Sky+ wall sockets?
Moving in a couple of weeks and will be getting sky installed (have it now and it's a freeby to get it installed at the new place which is good). I'd like to get the cables going into a wall socket, for neatness purposes more than anything, rather than have cables running around the room. I know that the more connections you have the more it affects the signal but has anyone used the better quality wall plates (such as ... Online Satellite/TV/FM/DAB Cable, Leads and Connectors sales. ...) and had good results? i.e. got a good picture with them?

I really doubt you'd see any negative effects in PQ by using something like this. Sky generally don't like to do anything above a completely standard installation so they may not be too helpful when it comes to using in wall connections like you want.

Sky will not wire up to these full stop.
If its a communal system and theres already a patterbox installed and wired, the engineer will make up a 'patch-lead' to run from the patterbox to the set top box. |

i got my 5.1 surround wall plate from these..
Nexxia Audio Solutions - Perfect Solutions for Quality Sound a lot cheaper than some!! new houses have the big wall plates with sky connection on them, so can't see why you can't get the dish cable fitted to it, unless it acts like a break in the cable and looses pic quality. |
