Testing the water before selling.

Hello there,

As i'm sure a few of you know, im looking to buy a Type R soon, so the turbo 2000 has got to go! So I just thought I'd test the water to see whether people would be willing to buy my car for the price that I'm think of advertising it for?

1999 Impreza Turbo 2000 - £4500

- It's very rare Sonic Blue, i've been looking around for ages and haven't seen another turbo 2000 in this colour! I'm sure this car would appeal to a lot of people as it looks very similar to a P1.
- Driven out of the factory brand-new by my dad in 1999, so we have known everything about the car from day one. Sold to me last July.
- Car drives perfectly, no nasty noises or problems with it.
- Engine is completely standard.
- 2 owners (me & my dad)
- 42,000 Miles
- 12 Months MOT
- 12 Months Tax
- Cambelt just changed
- Just fully serviced
- Fully stamped service book
- Toad thatcham 1 alarm & Immobiliser w/ certificate
- HPI Clear

Upgrades:

- Afterburner Vortex rear silencer
- 17” Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 gloss black alloys w/ toyo proxes tyres
- P1 front splitter
- Fog-lamp covers
- ht_ autos Colour-coded sideskirts
- ht_autos 22b rear bumper diffuser
- STI6 rear spoiler
- Alpine 1000 watt twin subwoofer
- Uprated speakers – front Alpine door speakers & parcel shelf Vibe SEK 6x9’s
- Alpine headunit – ipod compatible

Car has a couple of small dents and marks, but is to be expected from a car this age, barely noticeable.

I've looked around on all the used car websites I could think of, and I think this is quite a fair price for a car of this spec. what do you guys think? should I raise or lower the price?

Cheers.
