Found out a couple of hours ago , I need to make the most of my sleep as it will be non existent in 9 months

Congratulations antc, i would stock up on sleep just now, my daughter has just turned 3 and has only just started sleeping most nights.

I was the same though, wanted to tell everyone.

Have you just found out? I learned very quickly that women have a rule that it is generally a rule until around week 12/13.

So how many weeks pregnant is it?

Trout, yeh she had the clear blue test tells you how long ago you conceived which was 1-2 weeks ago but I was away for work then ........oh **** ;)

Why not go for a swim in the sea to seal the deal?

You could be in trouble with the broadcast then - I was sworn to secrecy until week 12 both times. It is a common thing not to share until then as women like to make sure they are through the first trimester (you will be picking up all this lingo along with lots of books).

I'm sure we'll be getting plenty of books. I know I'm kind of jinx'ing it saying now but I'm hopefull :D

congrats mate, my daughter is almost 4 now and ive not had a bad nights sleep out of her since birth (apart from when she's been unwell) she sleeps between 10-12hrs every night so you never know...its not gonna be like you think im sure

Well done, I had to wait for 12 weeks before I was allowed to tell everyone, but I did tell family the day I found out.
Its an exciting time, we should have ours here in the near future and already I am skint!!

As for telling people, if you are happy and proud then shout it from the rooftops. No amount of secrecy will change things.
