Buying a scooby with 75K
 

Hi all,
is buying a 2003 wrx with 75K on it a bad idea?

it all depends on whether it has full service history and the amount of owners the car has had. A 7 yr old car with 75k on is not that bad if it has not been ragged everywhere.My 99 uk has 130k,with 2 owners,and runs like it was built yesterday.Fsh,with the last owner owning the car for 8 years.

As above but you have to accept that a performance car may have a bit more wear and tear in certain places than the average family saloon. At 75k it's halfway through the life of it's 2nd cambelt and be prepared for the possibility of a clutch change in the not too distant future? It may also be nearing the end of it's 2nd set of brake pads. (hopefully not 3rd!)
FSH is fine but I would be more interested in proof of regular servicing with good quality lubricants by a Subaru specialist or a mechanically competant owner.
