so will let you know a little closer to date if thats ok calv but if not i will still be along for the day

Here we go Alan.
Welcome To The AJEC Group 2010
There will be a convoy leaving Magor services.

I went up to see the guys at Ajec today,it's about 35minutes from Magor at 70mph. I have to say i was very impressed with the setup there. And i may have fallen for something from the Dark side:Suspiciou:D

Do you know if they do steering geometry alignment? :wonder:

I will need this done soon after I have my ALK fitted. :)

The Stitcher 27 February 2010 11:42 PM

I dare say as we will be monopolising their RR for most of the day we could negotiate a good price ;) or pop across to Powerstation on the way back. :lol1:

I would give them a ring to make sure Ty. I know they do suspension upgrades for Imprezas so i would imagine they do a Geo setup:thumb:

bluerigster 06 March 2010 12:03 PM

My clutch decided to start slipping last night in 4th and 5th gear, so new clutch needed prior to the rolling road day. Otherwise I'd be lucky to make 250bhp or even worse make it home lol.

RED2 06 March 2010 12:37 PM

i'l be along for the day not going to put it on the rollers though, unless they are making good figures :D

KJD Mk1 06 March 2010 02:53 PM

Me too, I'll be along to spectate and support.:D

mr_D 07 March 2010 01:00 AM

u say £35 per rn? does that mean you only get 1 run. or do they do 2 for the £35

mervil 07 March 2010 05:52 PM

They normally do two runs on these dude!

mr_D 08 March 2010 09:01 AM

I think it will be only 1 run due to the amount of cars we should have there. I will check though:thumb:

STI Glenn 12 March 2010 10:29 AM

Is it ok for my m8 to put is EVO on

mr_D 12 March 2010 10:51 AM

do we have any clarification on the amount of runs yet? and any one know the clearance hight needed for the car

STI Glenn 12 March 2010 11:24 AM

Every RR i have ever been to ,they warm car up then roll it up once then a proper run

mr_D 12 March 2010 11:31 AM

yeah i have been to 3 rr days and they have always had 2 power runs. so im just curious thats all.

GMballistic 12 March 2010 11:37 AM

Sounds like a good plan Calvin and I'd love to go but I'm already booked to go on Api's rollers while there doing a few other bit's to my car at end of this month.
Any chance that you'll post up power figures after just out of interest?
Have a goodone all, Gareth :thumb:

It will be...Get on the rollers, then run the car up for a warm up and to check the calibration then a full power run:thumb:
No problem with hight clearence as they put track cars on the RR that are proper low:eek:

mr_D 12 March 2010 12:51 PM

thats ok then. i know some rollers have issues with the height of a car.

STI Glenn 13 March 2010 05:33 PM

Thanks Calvin
