Please help me decide on a netbook for a present

I am planning on buying my fiance a netbook for her birthday and have got it done to the following four. She will be using it for basic things like the internet, email and I tunes.

I would like one with a good battery. Is it better going for windows 7 starter or xp.

Out of the following four which one would you choose. I need to buy it from Amazon.

Asus 1005 ha

Asus 1005HA 10-inch Netbook: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Samsung n130

Samsung N130 10.1 inch Netbook: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Samsung n140

Samsung N140 10.1 inch Netbook: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Hp mini 110

HP Mini 110-1115SA Black Swirl 10.1-inch Netbook: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Thanks for the help.

if you want internet, iTunes and email, then the best and most portable solution is an iphone.

why are you getting a netbook? small though they are, they don't fit into your jeans/coat pocket. she prolly won't take it out of the house as it'll weigh down her probably already full handbag by another kilo.

you'll get a bj for an iphone :)

HP are terrible quality. my dad, for some reason always buys HP and they're always going wrong.

We've got some nice quality 15" HP laptops in work but I wouldn't say their as good as my Asus laptop.

Got my dad pretty much that same asus netbook for Xmas. It's pretty solid build quality, Asus are also getting some pretty high scores in any reliability reviews I've seen.

I think your choice is between the N130 and the asus in my opinion.

Acer Aspire one seems pretty good, had one for a couple of months with no problems.

How about the Toshiba NB200? Got one for the other half at christmas. 9 hour battery life, well put together.

The NC10 is the better Samsung, although you don't have it listed.

+1 for the NC10..... Very nice bit of kit for the money
