Engine rebuild
 
Hi there i currently in the process of rebuilding my engine after piston number 1 blew

Cheers once the blocks been skimmed im gonna do it blue same as some of the other bits
just hope it all goes alright

am gonna do the sump black as well

Nice work, looks like you've spent some time on that :thumb: makes me want to clean mine

Things like this make you look on the brighter side of the rebuild process - the chance to get the engine looking spot on outside and in

Cheers yes and im enjoying doing it too and ive got time as im importing the bits lol

The piston blew because it overheated. the annoying thing is whilst stripping it i found my thermostat had failed so all this for what could have been a few quid. still it will be nice when its done lol
