Dog hair removal
I have done a search and the reccommendation seems to be the Megs rubber brush [pet hair and lint remover].
Is this really the best thing to use? The carpet is covered in dog hair and they won't budge with a hoover. I've tried a rubber glove but this doesn't work either. Would a proffessional valet work? |

Either the brush as detailed above or you could try packaging (or any kind of) tape.
I say packaging tape as it is wider and thus makes it easier. Simply stick it down, lift it up and the hairs come away.... I use this method for my girlfriends hair (no dog comments ;))and works a treat. |

JML wonderbrush ;)
JML Rubber Wonderbrush from JML Direct Would not bother with any silly "pro detailer" over priced rubbish . We picked a load of the JML ones when Asda were knocking them out cheap. Been using these ones since they appeared on the market, as our old trust "pro" remover brush got left in somebody's valet and was never returned :( |
A wet rubber glove, rubber brush and even a fine wire brush (depending on the pile of the carpet etc) works well for me :)

I got the Megs rubber brush and it did the job ok, not fantastic and still some hairs that are difficult to budge however far easier than a rubber glove which soon got a hole in it.

i used to use a hack saw blade dragged across the carpet, but dont use it on the seats or parcel shelf because it will damage them !!!!!!
