Everywhere that I point and click on mentions the Big One and our mini-meet prior to it!!:confused:
I'll be picking up the nav in Bolton, so the best place for me is Birch services on the M62 eastbound. I mentioned on another thread about the possibility of driving the Snake if we give ourselves plenty of time - ideas please!:)

Paul, thought about the snake, but we'd have to set off really early to get it in to the days events. You're looking at best part of 2hrs to the big one including stops etc for meet up points. Do we have to be there for 1230 or is that when most will be arriving. As if thats the case, then maybe do the pass? I suppose if we met up at birch at 0930, then do snake pass, then onto woodall then to the big1, should be ok yeh? Do you think it might be too early etc. I'm personally not bothered, what about the rest?

Craft...lol....im gettin confused now!! We meetin up for brekki or you just wonna meet at birch? Either way..!! Mum says that whatever times is ok for us! :eek: We are up for the pass as well! Dad doesnt know yet, lol..ill tell him when he gets home on tuesday :D :D

Ok, 1st meet up point is McD's in Haslingden, then onto the 2nd meet up point at Birch Services east. Then up the pass, time allowing, onto Woodall services for the travel down to The Big one.
Sound ok?

Hello all...
if we meet at Birch services for 9am, that gives us 2hrs to get to Woodal Services on the M1 - that should be ample at that time of the day. Some 18plus Scoobs are leaving Woodall at 11am, so I reckon it would look bloody smart, excuse the french, when some 20plus Scoobs leave the M1 Services at Woodall:D:

Sarah and I should be able to meet you at McD's as well (I think I have finally managed to drag her out to a meet :D).

Snake Pass should be fine. We went to Matlock about a month back. It took 50 minutes from our house, down Snake Pass, and onto Bakewell. Great road :)
