File server analysing for archive
Guys
Anyone know the best way to analyse and identify on a large file server which files/folders have not been used or accessed for a while and then use this information to archive them. just trying to identify which files can go as the data storage has increased so much the backup is running over several tapes cheers in advance |

Does the MS tool give the same sort of information as TreeSize or FolderSizes hodgy?

to be honest Chris I am not sure
I have not used it in the flesh maybe Swiss will tell us in a day or so |
Cant test it as the client site is still on server 2003 and this tool only works in server 2008 ..so close
