Newage STi interior with defis and other guages

Some pics of inside my car. I've added an extra defi fuel pressure guage, inlet temp guage & a knocklink in the main dash. The controller also replaces the cupholder, to keep it all neat.

As luther says can we have some info on the fitment of the guage in the air vent ?? Is it a custom fit or is a kit that you can get ??

It was a custom fit, i don't know if there's a kit. Regarding how easy it was to do. Very easy. I drove to Dastek who look after it and gave them the dial, came back after work and it was in. :D I just left an inprint of my credit card.

They check for engine detonation. See here:
Knock Link - Thor Racing (Japanese Performance Car Tuning)

All i did was remove it from the box and (again) get Dastek to fit it where i wanted it.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. :D

Looks great in the air vent, I wonder if you can just have a turbo boost gauge there think I would do that???

Yeah, that would look cool and keep the cockpit clear of dials if that was the look you were after. I didn't want a pillar-mounted one.

If you're going Defi though, you'll still need the controller.

brockalightus 11 February 2010 12:00 PM

just need a set of hawk-eye clocks to finish things off........and then change all the bulbs in the dash to red to compliment the defi`s...........................SWEET

It was either Mocom or Zen.
