Oversteer and understeer Explain plz

Hey,

I've always sought of wondered what undeersteer and oversteer is. I know the Impreza suffers from undeersteer.

All I'm aware is you turn into corner steer and vehicle will sought of slide but I dnt really have a clue.

understeer... car tries to go straight on (FWD cars suffer most)

Oversteer, back end steps out (RWD cars)

AWD scoobies get mild understeer when pushed, unless u play with the DCCD

Understeer is where you turn the steering wheel into a corner and the front end runs wide.

Oversteer is where you turn the steering wheel into a corner and the rear end runs wide.

Most production cars have a certain amount of understeer dialled in to give you warning of approaching the vehicles grip levels.:thumb:

understeer is when you crash into the ditch forward , and oversteer is going in backwards :D it is in my rally car anyway lol

You can get both from the Scoob, but mostly understeers. A load of juice and a clutch kick will get a nice load of oversteer.

Ian lol. I have had expereince of both ha ha!

As TG said... Oversteer is better because you don't see the tree that kills you..:lol1:
