What a cracking looking car

And a 5 year Warranty thrown in ..... it does make remarkable sense!

SunnySideUp 07 February 2010 10:11 PM

Doesn't look like it will be coming to the UK, sadly :(

go and have another look at the RS Pete :D

Matteeboy 08 February 2010 09:12 AM

Nope. That last shape was okay but they don't do it for me.

The V6 chucks out cack power yet the car does around 20ish mpg - oh dear...

SunnySideUp 08 February 2010 09:15 AM

That's a Celica GT4, isn't it? Cracking car ..... with Toyota *cough* reliability ;)

SunnySideUp 08 February 2010 09:16 AM

Matteeboy - I thought you have long gone?!

Welcome back .... how's the pyjamas? ;)

GlesgaKiss 08 February 2010 09:19 AM

Don't think it's a GT4. Just a Celica.

I've been in this section (only) for ages.

Pyjamas are good. Managed many of those press ups yet? :thumb:

lol. he doesn'e have a bloke underneath him for inspiration ;)

coupe looks pretty good from here mind, although the only thing it shares with the aston is the tyre valves, and maybe the wiper fuse ;)

dpb 08 February 2010 10:21 AM

Some show but no go

itll no doubt suit some track suited grandad for posing purposes ...

..Morning Pete :D

Dream Weaver 08 February 2010 11:23 AM

Would look good without that silly droopy rear window, which looks like the silly droopy window on the Nissan 370z thing.

Still won't be nice to drive though, as per old Hyundai coupes.

StickyMicky 08 February 2010 11:31 AM

I like it, it would look a lot more bland with the back window smoothed off IMO

Never really liked the drive of the older ones myself

Matteeboy 08 February 2010 11:39 AM

This is the best shape IMO:

and the worst:

The previous one was a styling rip off of Ferraris. The new one adds a bit of Toyota Celica edge to it. I quite like the look of the thing.

Shame they probably won't have a diesel of Petrol direct injection version of it. Though 2.5 litres with the right supercharger or a couple of tiddly turbos... It could be persuaded to go a bit faster, I'm sure.
