Can anyone help ?

I purchased Jon's Porsche brakes off him this weekend and the car has gone into garage to have a few bits fitted, including the brakes.

Had a phone call today to advise me that my 18' OZ Super Leg's will not fit back over the brakes..... These were going to be my run around wheels and then i'd put my PFF7's on for special occasions.

So what do i do ?
What wheels will fit ?

Will wheel spacers help ?

Will they fit with spacers at all Tony ?

The other option are Rota 18" GRA's it's what John has fitted on his.

think i was right when i said about wheels and spacers in the for sale thread ;)

The PFF's should fit.

The PFF's fit ok but ideally i didnt want to use them on the car all the time

We had a look with spacers today and the threads are not long enough to get enough of the wheel nut on.

Any pictures of Gold GRA's on a Scoob ?

Rota GRA's are a copy of the Prodrive PWRC rims and look good.

It's a fav wheel for the P1 and Type R, loads have them fitted so look good.

As fitted on mine with 6 pot AP's, I chose to use a 3mm shim as the wheel spokes were very close to the caliper which made me a bit nervy.

IMO the GRA is one of the nicest wheels on the market.

I've not got these anymore as I sold them at the end of last year.

They do look very nice
Do they do this wheel in a 8x18 ?

I fear running a 8x18 on a P1 might cause you a few rubbing issues unless you use a 215x35 tyre.
The proper size on a Type R is 225x35 but with a 7.5 rim, 215 on a 8" rim stretches the tyre to much IMO.

The big wheel/ brake combo on a classic can be a royal PITA.

i've got 225/35's on the PFF's and not really had any problems

Ideally i want a rim thats got a curved face like ) and not straight |
