Prosport gauge

Has anyone had this problem? My new Prosport boost gauge sends out a warning beep (loud ) when it reaches max boost yet the revs haven't got to the red.

Has it been mapped? Normally a mapper will allow max possible boost throughout the midrange and deliberately tail it off by c.0.2-0.3bar at the top end. Or sometimes the turbo can't actually maintain the mapped peak boost level all the way to the redline...

Rev's are not linked to the boost warning function on the gauge, you need to set this warning manually on the gauge to your desired boost level.

Ahh, there's your proper answer OP :) - all hail to the specialists! ;) :thumb: lol

How do you set the desired boost level? I've tried pressing and turning the buttons to no avail, any advice? The beeps are too loud anyway.

im sure you hold the botton down & the needle will start moving & let go when its on the right pressure, to turn sounds off hold the button down whilst turning the ignition on for a few seconds

As above hold button down it will show current settings, tap button to increase.

OK I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks both!

Hiya mate - i just got the triple gauge pod fitted on my Hawkeye by ScoobyWorld in Loughborogh - awesome job, looks factory fitted (pics to follow!) - anyway. To 'kill' the warning beeps you press the button on the front of the gauge while turning the ignition on. That sets it to off. to reset to on, just do the same again - but bear in mind if you kill the beep for startup, you also kill it for over-boost etc... so the gauge will just flash warning instead. Happy days! Cheers, Chris.
