Check Tein's or another manufacteurs website to see if the part numbers are different if they are then they may not fit.

Early blob is very similar to the bug-eye, but later 05 model STI has hubs enlarged a la hawkeye STI.

i had a set of sti shocks of a late 2005 sti and they fitted straight onto my 2002 sti with no problems.

so icant see why they would any different there is a difference anyhow on the hawkeye struts, the holes for the two bolts that hold the hubs are slightly wider aparts.

hope this helps

cheers mark
