identifying a cross drilled crank
what do you look for?
and do all late newage rods have bolt fitment on the end caps instead of studs? |
The only cars that have these as standard are jdm twin scroll models or are you after buying one?
Tony:) |
The clue is in the description crossdrilled, the crank will have double the amount of oil drillings in it to feed the big ends ie 2 instead of 1.
All STI / WRX newage rods have bolts not studs, but normally aspirated 2.0 / 2.5 still have studs / nuts. |
