soft suspension?

alright guys ive got an 99 facelift uk an my standard rear suspension seems very soft when i push on it up an down. the fronts seem harder but wondering if this is how they are. is it worth replacing an dropping the car a few mm. if so want to go the minimum drop an what is a decent spring. although like to keep standard is there other options of another car? car has done 75000 mile
thanks for looking

The stock suspension is quite soft, and after 11 years and 75K miles the dampers are probably past their best.

I would suggest getting new dampers (KYB who make the Subaru OE have a range that sells at sensible prices - Car Parts and Car Accessories - Buy Parts By are the cheapest I have found) and fitting them with a quality spring kit, Eibach 25mm drop would be my recomendation.
