Going to the lakes in February anybody know of a good priced b&b or hotel?

I know of a decent hotel in Kendal, overlooking the river, has a pool and gym.
Any good?

where in the lakes, it's a big place....

Hazel Bank Country House - Hotel & Self-Catering - Rosthwaite, Borrowdale, Near Keswick

Lyzzick Hall Country House Hotel, Underskiddaw, Keswick - The Lake District

Either of these..............

Stayed in the Boathouse Hotel in Newby Bridge a few years ago,good rooms and food and the owners Ken and Christine are very friendly.It has a Aquarium and steam railway close by aswell as Lake Windermere.

I hired one of those little motor boats for a bit of sightseeing on Windermere only to find it would not keep up with the ducks!
