Belfast to Palermo
 

Road trip. About 2000 miles. i reckon 7 days to get there. week sunning ourselves. 7 days back.

Anyone have advice on good driving roads, places to see (stelvio, nurburgring, swiss tunnels). would like to do some of the car factories (ferrari, lambo), historic routes (mille Miglia sp?). the IWC watch factory, panerai factory is down about there somewhere as well i think. would like to sight see as much as possible. not really interested in being at certain places at certain times, me and my friends are kind of go with the flow people.

Cost wise i reckon about £2.5K including boats, fuel, accomodation, food, drink etc. Am i way out here cost wise? We would be getting a boat from Palermo to Malta for a weeks sunning and drag racing.

just tossing a few ideas about and would like to know what you lot think. taking the subaru. i am allowing 20 mpg
