MAF delete
Does anyone make a item to go in place of where the MAF normally sits on newage cars as i would like to remove it as its not used anymore :)

I've just caught up with the car in your project thread - so my reply is bit a bit silly really :D
Not seen a bespoke cover to replace the MAF, but a bit of ali sheet cut to size and sealed in place with silicon would be the cheapest way. The MAF could always be left unconnected, but I guess you are thinking about what restriction it offers to air flow? nick |

The MAF could always be left unconnected, but I guess you are thinking about what restriction it offers to air flow? nick It isn't flat (it's stepped) where the MAF sits so it needs to be machined, have asked Chris at CDF if he could make something and hes gonna get back to me :) The MAF is unconnected and yes i would imagine there is some restriction to air flow, as Tescos say every little helps :D |
