does anyone know if anyone has ever built a supercharged subaru, i know in reality it would be pointless but people do a lot of pointless things these days, maybe a crazy austrailian with a non turbo has done it:wonder:

Yes, there are quite a few around, a few of them were built in this country.

The costs were horrendus from the planning I did for mine (hence why it never happened). Saying that, I was planning a 2.5 or 3.0 h6 twin supercharger to be different.

Dunx has a 3.6 Tribeca plus s'charger itch he wants to scratch....

Dunx, have fun trying to find a supercharger to supply that with air!! I had problems trying to find 2 that would do 3.0.

Oh and budget 5K min.

One of the members on Surreyscoobies (scooby dan007) has supercharged a 2.0l GL bugeye wagon, using a supercharger from a mini.

or just go for it and use a supercharger and a turbo lancia done it with quite a lot of sucsess back in the 80's
