What happened to claiming all your other oils were better than Millers when you weren't selling it?

You answered your own question there, Paul! (weren't selling it?):norty:
Sudden realisation that a lot of people have started to use Millers?
As my prefered brand, it's good to see it being offered by Opie.:thumb:

I agree it is a good move, and I think Oilman will be able to sell plenty of it.

They have been going through lots of changes of late, kind of like a new Millers. All looks positive and much more to come from them.

My biggest gripe with Millers was the fact they used to recommend 10w-60 so much, this was because they did not have a SAE50 (15w-50 or 10w-50) but that has changed.

They have brought out a CFS 10w-50 to go head to head with the Pro S 10w-50.

Cheers

Guy.
Ps, some of the other oils we stock are still better then millers oils dependant on application.

Can you try to stock Genuine Subaru Oil filters too? And send them with the copper washer?

Would be perfect then :thumb:

Its on the todo list but it is a long long way down so dont expect any genuine filters to hit our shelves soon.

UFI are OEM spec and approved so just fine.

I use the UFI filters from Opie and they're perfectly good. Larger capacity than the tiny Subaru offering and without the rubber drainback valve which is unesessary in the Subaru application.

We've had no complaints about them and they seem better than most OEM ones. The only other ones that seem as good are the Mahle filters and we're getting those too. Apparantly the UFI's have been tested against some performance oil filters like K&N recently and were rated as just as good, so they have to be pretty decent.

Its good to see your selling Millers but as your no cheaper than my local Millers depot i'll continue to buy from them:thumb:

oilman 22 January 2010 09:59 AM

Ah, but do they give you the free fuel treatment? And see what the prices are when we have an offer on.

oilman 10 February 2010 11:47 AM

Hi Folks,

We've still got some stock of the free Petrol or Diesel Power Ecomax One-Shot Boost, so we're extending the offer for an extra week until Sunday
21st Feb.

So, order 5 litres of any Millers engine oil before 21 Feb and we'll send you a free Millers Petrol Power Ecomax One Shot Boost fuel treatment.
Order 2 x 5L and we'll send you 2 free and so on. If you'd prefer a Diesel One Shot Boost then please add this to the order notes at the checkout.

The Millers Petrol and Diesel Power One Shot Boost products replace and improve on their Octane Plus and Diesel Power Sport 4 products.
Both products increase power and MPG (by up to 7%), reduce emissions and clean injectors.

There are links to info on the Millers range in the post above, or follow these links for more info on the Petrol and Diesel Power Ecomax products:

Petrol Power Ecomax One Shot Boost
