So, I ignored the golden rule and had the fiancés name tattoo'd on my arm. Predictably for the thread, she's now no longer the fiancé and it's about time I got it covered over so was wondering if anyone here is into designing tattoo's? I'm willing to pay for a design I like that a tattooist can use since that's only fair! :)

You could always have your arm amputated that way you don't need to worry about a new design or finding a new woman with the same name :)

Reason for the second pic is that i'm looking at going to a half-sleeve aswell as covering over the name (which says zoe by the way) so I may get it all done in one hit. I'd want the top to be tribal to join into a later design i'm thinking of and obviously the bottom section would be tribal since the bands already there. Want to keep / integrate the dragon into the sleeve design but I want to avoid too much heavy tribal on the rest of my arm if I can since I don't think it looks right on skinny arms and as you can see from the pics, there's more meat on a spare rib than on my arms! :D

In terms of styles etc, I'm not much of a fan of flaming skulls, snakes, daggers, naked women etc but I do like Japanese style stuff, some Aztec designs and some of the bio-mech stuff is pretty cool too :D

Any designs / ideas for just the cover up or for the half sleeve idea would be great and like I said in the first post, I'm not expecting this for free - recognise that a lot of time goes into doing a design, particularly for something like the half sleeve and I won't be taking the piss offering a few beers for it! If anyone's up for doing the designs then chuck me a pm and we can talk money - best to do that before getting to far down the track :thumb:
