SPark plug question

Hi
I am thinking of remapping in the future (going the esl route) oh car is a 1996 wrx v limited sloon with td05.
Now my current plugs are pfr6b's with the standard 0.8mm gap out of the box, i am aiming for up to 300bhp for reliabilty and would these plugs/gap be ok up to that power level?

Gap should be 0.6mm. Mines at this and no probs at all bud!

i put ngk iridium plugs heat range7 gapped to 0.6mm in mine and they are the nuts the improvement was really impressive, the engine fires first time every time on start up and pulls twice as hard on accelleration, i even get better fuel economy with them and would recommend these for all scoobs:thumb:

Can you gap platinum plugs as i have heard it can damage the delicate electrode. Yeah mine were 0.8mm out of the box. Were your pfr6b's 0.6mm out of the box or did you have yours gaped?

The ^'s also cme as .8 from the box so closed the gap bud! Guess you 'd just need to be extra carefull with the iridium ones eh!!
