Speed sensor wiring - 99 STI RA

Looking for some info on the wiring colour code for the spped sensor for a 99 STI RA.

The electronic KM/MPH convertor fitted has gone faulty (already replaced the speed sensor itself) and the new one I got has different connections.

Anyone know what the wiring colours are for the +ve, -ve & signal wires are on the standard loom.

The existing setup has the convertor with 6 wires - 3 in / 3 out.

The new convertor has only 4 wires - the +ve -ve connects to the relevant wires and only the signal wire is cut and goes in / out the convertor.

Any help welcome.

Ali

Thanks 10bats

Don't suppose you know which loom on the back of the speedo the cables go to?

There are 3 looms left, middle and right.

Im not sure that the converter will withstand water ingress.:thumb:
