Defi Gauges gone funny, help needed

When i was driving today, my defi gauges started to play up.

they would do the start up thing where they do a sweep of the dial when i was driving, this happend quite alot over the 1.5 hour drive.

i have wriggles the wires on the back of them and on the back of the commander, all are good.

but now they are all stuck on max reading, with engine running or off.

there is power going to them as they all light up, and sometimes you can see them move a little.

the are the white faced (bf i think) range.

boost, oil pressure, oil temp.

this is the first time anything like this has happened.

they also lose there memorey of the peeks, and warnings.

anything i should be looking for to try and fix this?

thanks
ian

check the orange power wire, where ever your getting power from, it might be loose, red + white give the lights to gauges, orange powers the sweep and opperation of the gauges....

Check all the wires to the control box:
Red should be permanently live
Orange should be switched live
White should be to lights
Black should be to earth.

Check both ends of all four wires, but my money is on a dodgy earth;)

kk all ill have a look.

they have been on the car for a couple of years now.

i went for a Rolling road test today, and they were working fine on the way, but it started to happen on the way home.

better check the earths.
