external measurement across the boot lid is 1245mm.
the internal size ie. gap you can get something through is 1160mm.

So, now I'm intrigued. Why do you want to know?

I've got a '92 Legacy Turbo saloon. A few weeks ago myself and Squizz were thinking about different boot spoilers (i.e not the boring factory one)

I came across this pic on a website and it got me thinking again about the STi 5 spoiler. Armed with a tape measure and a bit of imagination,I thought about fitting one. I decided that it wouldn't really go, but after seeing the pic i'm not so sure.

I could really do with a spoiler to hold up to the car to see what it would look like really.

My boot measures 52 inches across (132cm) so it might go
