Mid Life Crisis!!!

I have decided to add to my fleet of a Legacy Diesel Estate and Mazda MX5 by buying an Impreza Turbo Five door probably around the 1998-2000 vintage.

Been looking around and although i am not a novice with cars do not know a lot about this model.

Any pointers but more importantly would anyone be interested who has greater knowledge than me in earning a good drink and examining any potential purchase.

I am based in central Lancashire but for example may be travelling to Bedford in the next day or two to examine one there.

If anyone is located that are or located near me and fancies a ride out shout up.

Thanks in advance. Regards Stuart.

Nick your a star.

Not too bothered about colour but if a choice blues and that dark green they do.

Likewise mileage not too bothered. Had plenty of high mileage cars no problem if maintained etc.

Current Legacy Diesel on 59000 after 20 months not an issue.

Price. Well ideally around the £2000 mark if its possible to get something half decent for that.

There is one on E Bay in the midlands in red 183000 miles allegedly one owner only full Subaru history mots etc repair invoices for £1795.

Condition is obviously more important than mileage.

Anyway thanks for your help.
Much appreciated.
