Cheap Office Desk: Where From?

Hi all, I'm looking for a cheap desk for an office. This is the kind of thing I'm looking for - Buy Oak Finish Taylor Desk. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for .

The one in the link is perfect, but is out of stock. Some of the ones that are in stock are going to take 14 days for delivery, so god knows how long that one would take.

I'm looking for drawers on the right hand side because of where it's going. Any suggestions for other websites/places to try?

Cheers

Most cities have used office furniture dealers. You can usually find the right quality/condition/style/price compromise.

Try Staples if they have a place near you.
Or a second-hand place. Usually better quality at less cost.

Ikea.

2nd vote for ikea.
alternatively, 8 breeze blocks stolen from a building site (ie liberated from a skip :thumb:) and a bit of mdf

Considering most people lean on their desks I wouldn't buy from argos :D

Don't be tempted by the chicken at Ikea!

Plenty of bargain 2nd hand stuff if you look around. Try local papers. Friday ad.

Or Viking but not top quality. Staples on line is where I get my office stuff from. You can get drawer units to fit under or next to a desk top. dl

Got mine from ikea for £92 a while ago. It has a draw and a cupboard and can go on left or right. Mines oak too (Not real, its veneer:))

Nice solid desk though. Heres mine:

+1 to Office Surplus places. I got a fantastic replacement desk for £75 - solid 1600 x 800 mm (I think, huge thing though) and delivered free as my place was on the way to another drop :)

Give Lehmans Bros a call, they've still got a garage sale on!
