What Japanese sport car is the best

Hey all, just wondering, what jap sports car is the best or most preferred in the UK amongst tuners, as in Subie's, Evo's., Supra's, Skylines, Im curious to find out, I'm thinkling of migrating there soon. BTW, I love my scoobies, lol.

Looking forward to what you have to say

No im not the brightest that's why you responded like a wound up toy. I own a subie fyi but the car i like the most happens to be a NSX, not everyones own the car they really want. anyway, moving on

miss_scooby 03 January 2010 06:28 PM

responded due to bordom, so sell ya scooby and get one. If i didnt have a scooby, the car i like the most, then would prob be skyline r34 in white with nismo goodies

m@t STImulation 03 January 2010 06:29 PM

FD3 RX7 for me. It's got everything you want for a sports car, looks fantastic, handles great and has the power to match

nickwrxstiV2 03 January 2010 07:01 PM

S2000

m@t STImulation 03 January 2010 07:02 PM

rx7 and the corola 4got about those but just remembered
if i was not in a scoob it would have to be a
nissan S15

gallois 03 January 2010 07:05 PM

best to go to an impartial fanatic site, like pistonheads, having said that you'll probably find as many people indifferent to the scoob on here as you will on there.

f1_fan 03 January 2010 07:16 PM

Well I think it's a fair question.

I love my Scoob, but would like a Supra too

just had the one ,but for a cheap trackday toy they are great you could say the best for the price

also if you ignore the fact they have chocolate gearboxes :brickwall

a sensible choice though would be the NSX-R

TonyBurns 03 January 2010 10:34 PM

Another vote for an NSX-R, stunning super car, still hold their price very well!

Tony:)

greatgonzo 03 January 2010 11:17 PM

Another vote for the new Skyliner Its fu**ing gorgeous and even better in the flesh, Why wouldn't you all want one :wonder:

greatgonzo 03 January 2010 11:20 PM

Oh nothing wrong with the original question, why do some people on here need to knock people's threads:( if you don't like it don't reply to it

butlerwrx 04 January 2010 01:28 AM

Yes i am

Saint AAI 04 January 2010 10:14 AM

I don't think the new shape Skylines are anything too special, just an oversized 350Z really. The new GTR however is an awesome machine and would probably be top of my list if I could afford one. If we're talking easily affordable cars with lots of tuning potential then I would want an R32/33 GTR, a MKIV Supra RZ/GZ/UK TT, or an FD3S RX7. I was looking at RX7's before I bought my Impreza, but found them too small for me and my knees were in the dashboard. Decent Supras and R33GTRs were not within my budget back then either.

P555SBR 04 January 2010 10:22 AM

supra for me but would still keep my scooby

scooby546 04 January 2010 11:27 AM

good question... love my impreza, but would also love a SKyline, probably R34 GTR or maybe Audi RS4

or...

Overfinch Range Rover with trailer for trackday only impreza :thumb:

edit to say apologies, not all Japanese :)
