Does the bugeye have a steering lock?

As above, since buying my wrx I noticed that is doesnt have an ignition off steerig lock, hpi showed never stolen etc so it got me wondering, I know the classics had one having watched videos of them being towed with no keys with hilarious results.
Has mine just failed or did it never come with one?

:(

Anyone know how easy it is to replace the steering lock?

Do I need to replace the whole ignition barrel or is the steering lock a bolt on part?
:wonder:

Take your original ignition barrel out, then saw the bolt that clamps the lock and surround to the column and replace. The new lock should have a brand new bolt that comes with it. The head on the bolt snaps off when it reaches the correct torque so it could not be removed unless cut off. Then insert your original barrel into the new lock, screw it all up and job done!!
