It's a 3M carbon look film, pretty easy to fit if you're patient but I did burn my fingers on the hot air gun!

Rice Rocket: i really like the bride touch.. how was that done? what colour seats do you have? do they match?

dalmatian: please tell me that is not an STi? it looks professionally done and very clean/good quality but not my sort of thing, each to their own though, looks well done.

bigarf 29 December 2009 01:24 PM

Does look considerably better than the standard bugeye interior, no matter what your taste is:thumb:

It's not a DIY process to flock a dash, but I believe scoobyclinic are now doing it at a good price:thumb:

£120 for a dash

eggy790 29 December 2009 10:04 PM

ok someone has got to help me out here as it is peeing me off lol

you know the centre pocket/arm rest next to the hand brake..

has anyone managed to modify it at all so it is soft or at least like the arm rest on the doors?

my classic had the same for both the door arm rest and the centre one next to the hand brake.

newage on the other hand with the bumpy ride means my elbow is knockin it 24/7..

anyone got a fix for this?

sorry just been on a 100mile drive on a roads with it bugging me lol rant over

Rice Rocket 29 December 2009 10:14 PM

^^ Why not get it re padded and covered at an upholsters?

Ricey

eggy790 29 December 2009 10:32 PM

re-padded? my sti one is hard plastic on the centre arm rest lol no padding at all.. whereas the classic had padding just like the bugeyes have on the doors..

no worries im sure an upholsters sould be able to pad it for me though

handsome rob 30 December 2009 11:59 AM

Hi anyone know how much retriming costs roughly ? i would like to reuse all the blue parts of my 03 sti seats and have all the black fabric parts replaced with black leather .

milliemoo 30 December 2009 09:41 PM

try enigma-automotive.

its my mate and he does trimming from home although he is in west norfolk and it depends how local you are to him.he is trying to do trimming full time as a trade but has to retain his welding job until things pick up.

he is doing my 2 front seats in black, blue stiching, prodrive embroidery and custom panel stiching to back support.also beefing up the leg supports.he quoted me £350 max but he has done full interiors ie-skyline-2 front seats, back seats, door cards and wheel/gearknob in any colour combo £1100.bare in mind that you could pay from 1500 to 6000 depending on where you go.give him a look people :thumb:

Welcome to Plush Automotive

I saw a mini done by this company with green leather re-trim and roll cage which was quite amazing.
