What software to create a presentation CD?

I want to create an autoplaying CD presentation that doesn't require powerpoint or the lieks to be installed on the viewer's PC/Mac

It will need a multi channel soundtrack (vocals and music) which I have in WAV files already and a slideshow of images with textual overlays.

I have Powerpoint, Adobe Premier Pro and the likes so can do this up to a point already, but really wnat to create a disc that plays automatically and needs no additonal software.

Looking around the we there are lots of packages available from free to uber expensive. Can anyone here recommend one?

Hiya pal you have pm for the wheels.

As to the above, you can download a screen video capture and record your screen when you play the powerpoint presentation. I have never tried this to put on dvd but it shoud work fine. Ive used it and saved in the past for explaing to someone how to do
something on a PC... The video footage it creates ahould save as a wav file. Rob

Google it below:

There's a really easy way to make this type of thing -

Microsoft Powerpoint - Save as Movie.....

Keynote - Export

Both of these will create a Quicktime movie of the presentation....

Just then chuck the movie into Premier to overlay the extra audio tracks and burn as an AVI/Quicktime movie - the autoplay aspect is set from your drive properties (IIRC)

Of if you have powerpoint you can pub;ish to CD which will provide the powerpoint viewer software that does not need to be installed IIRC.
