fse fuel pressure regulator

Hi there,
i've just bought one of the above, does any body know if i can fit a gauge to the regulator so i can adjust the fuel pressure and if i can fit it to the port that has a blanking plug fitted,
thanks:

you can just buy one to adjust these, not to exspencive either.
once done, you disconect it, & put the blanking pin back, or you can get this sort of thing, & keep an eye on it inside the car:

52mm STEPPER MOTOR FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE on eBay (end time 30-Dec-09 05:08:57 GMT)

just make sure its an electronic type mate, if manual type you could nip the hosing easally as i did with an oil presure gauge i had. oil covered the inside of my car
i only slightly nipped it too

if fuel, risk of catching!!!

the mini gauge to adjust them are cheap, but a proper incar fuel presure gauge will cost more

even via halfords:

GAUGE FOR UNIVERSAL ADJUSTABLE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR on eBay (end time 25-Dec-09 20:00:54 GMT)

but an incar one has a sender unit

Isn't the FSE reg well dodgy in its performance? I've read these can be engine killers!(?)

I don't mean to scaremonger, but thought it should be mentioned before you fit it. Hopefully this post will spark some debate... so the OP can make an infromed choice,

fse are one of the oldest makers of fuel regs.
never heard of engine det from them, if set up proper (set to the right psi/bar for your ap)

but its always good to find out anything regards modding.

snap, i've used them lots of time.
never any issues

again, as long as the presure is set right. not to high, and not to low

im soon putting one on my impreza, if theres info regards these mcoursing damage

GGR720 RS500 Sierra Cosworth Fuel Pressure Regulator on eBay (end time 10-Jan-10 16:02:37 GMT)

there is a small cover on the bottom you pop off and reveals a grubb screw which you adjust to suit far more stable than fse
