SoundandVision open in Leeds
Pop in and see if they can do you a deal :thumb:
I wandered in and asked for a Xmas present, which they price matched on the spot, and asked for a "decent" HDMI lead.... Total price £275, walked away for £199 with TWO HDMI leads as well :luxhello: That's half price, on decent quality leads too..... well I am a Yorkshireman. ;) Bolton was good when I went, but Leeds is even better ! ( Mainly for us locals benefit. ) dunx |
What have you bought yourself for Xmas :)
I went into SuperFi on sunday, they had 'sale' prices... plus I got £70 vouchers to spend at HMV (£10 for every £100 spent) and just got my HDMi leads from ebay.... £24 for two 1m leads. dead chuffed. 2 x 1M HDMI Pro 1080p 1.3b cable - for all HDMI devices on eBay (end time 31-Dec-09 18:50:01 GMT) |
I pay £3 for HDMI cables, including P&P. Digital signals are either there or not, quality is a given with run-lengths over 7m or so being the only possible question.

Can't see them behind the cabinet so don't care what they look like. As they simply work, I don't need to know what version they are. As and when or if I need 1.x or whatever I'll upgrade, but for now they are perfectly fine and my wallet remains healthy.

Errors don't occur in the cabling, they originate from the media with each piece of data being stored three times and the processor comparing the three and correcting any anomalies. They can also occur through timing irregularities between equipment, but not during the signal transfer through cabling. As long as there is a contact, a digital signal is reliable until it is processed in some way !

owwwww, I'm biting my tongue. ;)
LOL dunx P.S. Don't get me started on "Yorkshire economics" :lol1:, I reckon £25 quid is not excessive. Are you and yours well Dave ? :) |
Fine buddy. Hope you are too :thumb:

I used QED Qunex HDMI leads and to be honest at £50 a piece (should be cheaper now as i bought them over a year ago) they were worth the money as "I" could tell the different as the data rate is higher and the sheilding is great on them ( i have alot of cables which could cause cross talk)
