My keyboard is in U.S format ( I presume ) .\

The chacters like these ... !@#$%^&*() are not where they are supposed to be ? !

It's only since I loaded Windows XP the other day.

I've looked in the control panel at Keyboards but can't find out how to change it .

any ideas anyone ?

Control Panel | Regional Options and select UK rather than the default US.

Done from memory, so YMMV

I've had a look at that , the Regional Options says English(United Kingdom) ! ?
