Ok,

A couple of questions about a 'quickshift'....

I have read a few threads that mention it and I was wondering what the benefit of one is?

Also, how easy is it to fit (i.e could I do it myself or should I get a mechanic).

Cheers

Quickshifts generally make the driving experience a little nicer, feel more precise when changing gear, also reduce the amount of 'throw' in the lever.

It's easy to fit, well depending on your technical ability!! - Should only take about 10 - 15 mins max to change the linkage. :)

Thanks,

That's what I needed to hear.

(do they come with fitting instructions?)

They should do m8, but if not its ever so easy just usually 1 nut and bolt and a little brute force and its done, dead simple :)

Do these vary in design and quality then?

SUBARU4YOU say it takes an hour to fit one.

I have also heard many varying prices depending where you get one from
